Into The Depths Of Prayer

You see we must not sit idle as Christians and allow the enemy to encamp about us.  We have a responsibility and authority to engage the enemy in our life.  God will fight the battle in the spirit but we must engage the enemy in prayer.

Does a warrior allow his enemy to be in his camp when he has the authority from his commander to defeat him when encountered? 

How angry are you at the devil for his meddling and manipulation of the circumstances in your life.

We have the right and the power to overcome and defeat him, through the power of the Holy Ghost.

Often we can’t see the signs of our enemy until time shows us how long he has meddled and manipulated our circumstances, then we realize that it wasn’t him but us who allowed him the territory not realizing his intentions.  He nips and works on the perimeter.  Just far enough and obscure enough that our spiritual eyes can not detect him, oh we know he is out there, we don’t clearly understand how or when to confront him.  Thus, giving him time to whittle away at our life and slowly rob us of all kinds of our blessings-joy, peace, finances, etc--

He tries to slowly push his way directly into our camp and into our spirit and soul, to discourage and depress us, to carry out a personal attack.  Following is a message from the Lord that He dropped into my spirit while I was writing:

“Awake all you Christians, rise up for your enemy is at hand.  He is in your camp.  I have given you the authority to defeat him, stand up with your armor and the sword of the spirit.  Call your armies, prepare for battle, assemble your troops, its time to take the battle to him, to defeat him and drive him out of the territory that he has taken. Gird yourselves with my Holy armor, scream into battle and I will be with you for vengeance is mine, saith the Lord.”

Let the holy anger rise up in you, do not set idle as the devil and his demons generate havoc, we must see with our spiritual eyes, we must be in prayer to let God reveal to us what the enemy is up to, in the spirit.  Just as Elisha and his servant saw an army before him, Elisha prayed that his servant’s eyes would be opened and he saw a host of warring angels.  (2 Kings 6; 17-18)  Lets Pray for God to open our spiritual eyes so we may avoid the traps and snares of the enemy.  With the shield of faith we will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one and pray for God to place His holy armor on us.  With this comes victory upon victory and we will give Him all the praise and glory!!!!!  Amen.
