The fortunes of the Smith Clan are based on the premise that when people treat others as they wish to be treated, their lives will be blessed, and their lives were blessed. Each character, whether it is one from the Chinese, Black, Hispanic, Indian, or White race, manages to become successful. Their success does not come from luck, it comes from very hard work and a blending of co-operation from all who are involved.
About the Author
Everett Smith has been an avid
reader since he was able to read. He has
read all of the westerns and historical fiction books he could find. When he was 71 years old he was still
working, operating a bulldozer. When his
wife of 50 years became ill, he quit working to take care of her. In his spare time, he read. At one point he threw his book across the
room and shouted, “I can write a better book than this!”
