About the Book
June Block has heard the voice of people of all ages cry out in rage at being abused. As a survivor she wants others to become “survivors”.
After the events of shootouts in schools, 9-11 and other violent and horrifying experiences, she decided to once again voice her concerns. This book – “From me to You” is her avenue to reach out!
June Block was joined in her endeavors by Darlana Mayo – together they spoke out with a cry no one could miss – through plays, poems and songs they became one voice. Darlana’s is silenced – but through this book it can continue too.
About the Author
This author – now a voice for “The Abused” has been in the entertainment world all her life. She started composing music and poems at the age of nine.
At the age of fifteen she began to write and direct plays. She performed on and off stage. She formed her singing group, taking them as far as the “Apollo”. Through her life she educated others in the field of performing arts.
As a leader, she sought to teach others to become leaders. Her biggest campaign was the battle against “Abuse!” In 1003 she formed S.U.G.A.R. SUGAR allows children to speak out against violence. They cry “Save Us this Generation At Risk – Stop The Violence”.
