About the Book

It's Called Commitment has been a true labor of love for its author, Bill C. Lee. The path from beginning to end has been a long one, but it has taken him on a journey of self- discovery that most people never have the chance to experience.

The idea for the book was born in 1984 at a time when the author began to question the direction of his life. He developed a philosophy of life based on five basic commitments - Commitment to God, Commitment to Self, Commitment to Family, Commitment to Professional Responsibility, and Commitment to Others. Over the years, Lee has collected dozens of thoughts and definitions relating to each of these five ideals and brought them together to create It's Called Commitment.

One of Lee's greatest joys is sharing his philosophy with others and helping them discover their own definitions of what is important in life. It's Called Commitment includes several areas where readers can record their own ideas relating to each of Lee's five basic commitments. By taking a closer look at these thoughts and feelings, it is then that the reader's own journey of self-discovery can truly begin.
