GLORY TO YAHWEH
I give glory to Yahweh
Who sits on His throne.
He's the First and the Last,
Glory to Him alone!
Yahweh made the heavens,
He created the earth
With every living thing
Which has beauty and worth.
He made the sun and stars,
He created the moon.
I give praise to Yahweh
In worship and in tune.
It only took six days
To create what I see.
Yahweh spoke and it was so,
He spoke, it came to be.
I praise Him for creation,
And for salvation, too.
He sent His Son Jesus Christ
Who is faithful and true.
Before He made the earth
Yahweh had such a plan--
To delieve and redeem
He would become a man.
Jesus was on a cross
Where He suffered and bled.
I give praise and glory,
He is risen from the dead!
No one is like Yahweh
For He alone is God,
The One all-knowing, all-wise,
His majesty is broad.
He cares for His creation,
He has come to redeem.
All His judgments are true,
His glory is supreme.
Yahweh is on His throne
As I begin to bow
In praise and adoration--
I glorify Him now!

About the Book
Salvation and God is a collection of poems dealing mostly with God, who created and sustains the universe, and the salvation He provides to mankind through His Son, Jesus Christ, who died on the cross. It deals with man’s need to respond to the message of God’s grace and the joy one has whose sins are forgiven by the blood of Jesus.
About the Author
Arlo Rimel, a 1984 graduate of Great Lakes Christian College in Lansing Michigan, has written over 14,000 poems since 1985. A native of Dawson Pennsylvania, he has published a novel, Desty, and three poetry books; Standing With God, Into the Word, and The Birth of a Child. A number of his poems have been published by Standard Publishing of Cincinnati Ohio in their Christmas and Easter program books. Arlo is a member of the Church of Christ in Scottdale Pennsylvania where he reads his poetry. His latest work is entitled Salvation and God.
