Journeys End
The journey will end,
When your dreams, are truly fulfilled.
Never to be lost,
Nor, always on guard.
A home in a wooded area,
Fresh water, flowing,
Down from the mountain top.
Wildlife to be seen,
Each and every day.
Fruit trees, bearing, in the orchard.
Children to move on,
To their destinations;
Never to be lost,
Nor, always on guard.
They need to fulfill, their own journey.
Have families, of their own,
Never to be lost,
Nor always on guard.
Heart Full of
Treasure
The treasures' one
carries
Deep inside their heart
Is the love of a family
With hopes, we will never part.
From the time, they venture into the world
Mature, and then move on
The love of your family
Shall, forever, be very strong.
A gentle person, once told me
No matter the problems we face
We will always carry our treasures
To have love in the human race.
For the one, that does not have
Treasures of their own
Will always be saddened
Their heart will not be strong.
The loss of a loved one
Whom has left no where abouts
Will always be a treasure
Deep inside our hearts.

About the Author
Brenda has been a hesitant participant in this odyssey to see her own words go down in print. Never would she believe that anyone would want to view the poems that she has penned to paper. Between the daily challenges that she meets, confronts and triumphs over, she settles her soul with crafts and poetry. Each poem that she writes she endeavors to explain another quirk of life that has passed by her way in her own unique style. May you enjoy the poetry that she has been persuaded to share with you.
