The Declaration of Self-Evident Truths is a
historical analysis of Race and Gender Relations in America; with Root
and Cause being traced back to 500 BC, and authenticated by the King James
Version of the Holy Bible. In
addition to the Biblical references, this book chronicles Sexism and Racism from the continent of Africa and the slave
trade, to the British Dynasties with their influence upon Colonial America, The
Declaration of Independence, The Constitution, and ultimately, the impact of
each upon current social issues in
contemporary American society. The
reader will gain more insight into their long term effect; not only in terms of
the Sexual/Racial divide in America; but their impact upon our laws, our religious
beliefs, our customs and mores as well.
"The Declaration of Self-Evident Truths" questions the assertions made in "The Declaration of Independence",
namely; “We hold these truths to be self-evident that all men are created
equal...that they are endowed by their Creator with certain Inalienable Rights,
that among these are Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness...that to
secure these rights, governments are instituted among men deriving their just powers from the consent of the
governed.”
The principles
included in this ICON of American legislation, are concepts intended to enhance
the equitable distribution of the better things in life for all American
people. It assumes endowments by the
Creator with rights which cannot be taken away. It guarantees the equality of all men, women and children;
while simultaneously assuring Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness. As Americans, we trust our government for
the fulfillment of the promises contained in
The Declaration of Independence; which tells us that the purpose of
government is to secure these rights for all of us.
