About the Book

Lost and Found takes you inside of a long-term friendship between Katrina and Cheryl.

Katrina is an honor student, college bound and very ambitious.  She’s as self- absorbed, as she is ambitious.

Cheryl is a struggling student with street smarts and savvy.  Cheryl’s lifetime dream is to be a hair stylist and nothing more.

These two girls tell a story of their friendship from childhood pranks to dealing with some of life’s real situations and tragedies.  These two friends learn a lot about themselves, one another, life, and the Lord.

About the Author

Grace Bryant, what can I say?  Her name says it all.  Only God can fit all of her attributes into her 4'11" frame.  Her carmel color skin, wide round face, and dark brown eyes remind you of the dolls we used get at Christmas time.  When she smiles, her whole face lights up, exposing two very deep dimples.  Silly, witty, caring, thoughtful, compassionate and horny... That’s Grace.

She’ll empty her pockets to help someone in need.  She’s quick to send an encouraging card, offer a supportive hug, or simply let you know “I’ve got your back”.  Grace was married with children at age seventeen.  Struggle was no stranger to her.  She managed to finish nursing school and raise four children(who by the way are all honor roll students with outstanding leadership and community involvement skills) while holding a twenty-two year marriage together.  YOU GO GIRL!

Grace has opened her heart and her home to family members, neighborhood children, stray cats, and anyone else in need, never expecting anything in return.  She’s generous by nature, with a very humble spirit, and a gift to gab.  She is by no means boring.  She can talk game with the best of them.  But, whatever she does, she gives it her all.  When she’s practicing nursing, she goes over and beyond the call of duty.  She cares for the physical problems, while lifting patients spirits with her wit, and comforting them with a genuine, sincere caring attitude.  As one of the few parents involved in school activities, she organized fund raisers, school trips, prom dances, and supported the athletic department at her children’s school.

She defines the word friend.  Those who are fortunate enough to develop a friendship with her, know that they have a friendship to treasure, for she is not a fair weather friend.  When tragedy strikes, when you’re broke and in desperate need of money, when you think you’re just about ready to call it quits with your marriage, that’s when you realize what a blessing it is to have Grace as your friend.  That’s when Grace shows up and shows out.

God’s grace and mercy are demonstrated everyday through one of his vessels..... Grace Bryant.
