Just where were these hard
bodies when I was young?
Where was I traveling, when those songs were sung?
Where was my mind, that notice was bare?
Were there really such sweet sights, hovering near?
When did full asses become so
easily seen?
Is this reality, or is this a dream?
Since when were smiles so tantalizingly coy?
And the smiles, suggestive and fills me with joy?
Why does this heart, reach
out so damn fast
And embrace each beauty, trying to last?
Wishing and hoping and fantasy too,
Wanting and wishing about things I would do.
Young things in tight pants
and dresses and shorts.
Sweet full-bodied damsels, shapes of all sorts.
Walking here and there, the taut bodies go,
Moving in confidence, in sex they do flow.
I love the big ones, and I
favor the small,
Seek out the round, but just love them all.
Wish against wish is to have each one alone,
Turn off the TV and shut off the phone.
Know that I would kiss each
sweetly, and never the mind,
Will give each, some loving to hold, yes some good loving to find.
Hold each one tightly and take them to bed.
And satisfy all those sweet fantasies that run in my head.
Digital Junkies
How large is that monitor
screen
You stare at, constantly?
Joining millions of pairs of eyes
And half that many hearts
Even though the work calls
The work begs for attention, and you play, surf
And write one note after the other.
Your homepage screams to you, come-hither.
Again you return to check Guest book signings
To reread what you have read more than 100 times
The words are so familiar you could recite
Each and every poem, visualize the pictures
As the work cries for completion.
Oh well, there is always tomorrow.

About the Book
“Fantasies That Run In My Head” is the authors
collection of original Web inspired poems.
Almost everything said and done between people in this Net-based
environment is pure fantasy and wishful thinking. Here you can be whoever you want to be and say almost anything
you want to say. The poem “In Realtime Too”, is a synopsis of web
life.
It is often hard to separate the “fantasy” from the
reality and the merging of desires with time and distance, often make
revelations of the heart and mind possible.
So while you read, see if you can decipher the real from the unreal, the
actual acts from the make-believe desires.
See if you agreed that:
“Making all our cyber plans
Courting all those cyber fans.

About the Author
Terry Stratton, wrote his first poem (not included
here) in the fourth grade while attending the Oyster Bay Public Schools, Oyster
Bay, Long Island and wishes he had more time to be the writer and artist he
wants to be. A native of Long Island,
New York, he currently lives in a small town in
Southeastern Pennsylvania and works as the Telecommunications Manager at West
Chester, University, in West Chester, Pennsylvania. He holds a B.S.B from Murray State University, Kentucky and an
MBA from West Chester University. His
wife and son also write and collaborated with him and five (5) other family
members in an unpublished manuscript of poetry, stories and drawings. His brother William is also a published
author under the pseudonym of Monte Maddox.
His mother Rachel lives with Mr. Stratton and his wife Dr. Cleavonne
Stratton and their son James.
The father of four and grandfather to nine he has
one sister and one brother who both reside in Ohio.
