About the Author

Experienced with twenty-six years of marriage, raising six children, enjoying four grandchildren, working full time as a Registered Nurse, and volunteering for her community’s life squad has kept her life busy. Limited and valuable is her spare free moments for writing, painting, gardening, traveling, furthering education and enjoying the outdoors. Her happiest moments come when she can do something creative and see the final outcome of her efforts. Completing her first book of poetry has been a creative and challenging role. Looking for the positive aspects in life and questioning the negatives has inspired her varied topics as she takes life as it comes. While living in a rural community and commuting to the city daily, she sees a kaleidoscope of scenes during every season, anytime of day or night. She comes into contact with people who are diverse in many aspects. From these experiences, she takes ideas and transforms them into written paintings filled with details, for the reader to relate to.
