About the Author
After owning 13
corporations, writing 16 books, mostly about some aspect of U.S. education, and
holding numerous jobs as diversified as cab driver, standup comic and college
president, Diggs said no to retirement and accepted a job with Citrus County,
Florida, as the Site Director of the Annie Johnson Senior Center.
Despite being 70 with
emphysema, he looks forward each week day to going to work. It is there that he
puts his ingenuity to work, creating events and supplying education that will
lead to healthier, happier lives.
The activities included
in the Senior Activities Planning Guide are those which have been well received
by his "extended family" who come each day for a warm meal and their
daily supply of laughter and wisdom.
