About the Book

As with most other parents who love their children, we did everything we could to provide a good loving home for them. We nourished them and taught them right from wrong. We took them to church and told them all about good moral behavior and treating others the way they would like to be treated. We loved them unconditionally. There were times when we laughed and times when we cried. We had fun together and vacationed together; we were a family. As our children grew, we grew in many ways too and together on this journey of life we learned about each other. We were not wealthy, we were average and ordinary, but we did whatever we could.

Our daughters are precious to us and like most parents do, we tried to protect them and caution them against the evils that are present all around us. We had challenges like everyone does, that is part of life, but there was never a challenge so great as the one that was about to change our lives.

After our youngest daughter’s recent divorce from her husband of three years, we noticed that her personality was beginning to change. What once was a close relationship with us suddenly seemed strange and different. After having been together for a family celebration we were not prepared for the news that we would receive just two days later. CONVINCED BY MANIPULATION takes you on a course turned upside down by the evils of deception.
