FOREVER LOVE
My love has sought me and found
me.
I dreamt of this moment, and
now it’s bittersweet, his heart
is finally mine but time has
been cruel, I now love another.
The years of waiting has given
me a special love. Our reunion
saddens me, never would I ponder
turning from him, However it
was painfully out of my hands
without a thought he made it
easy, “I will forever love you” He
said, and walked away.

THE RAIN
There was a knock at my
window that night, and a
stranger appeared. I felt his
weakness screaming to be rescued
and took him in. I was moved
by his presence and listened
breathlessly to the tales of his
worldly adventures. I realized I
needed him as much as he needed
me, his voice was soothing and
comforting, as the night turned
into dawn, this strong wonderful
being wept in my arms, his tears
brought me comfort, before falling
asleep in my arms he whispered to
me.
“Sweet dreams my sweet.”
