About the Book

This is a fictional depiction of a tight knit, well-heeled African American family from the South that has amassed great property primarily because of their White heritage.  This family of southern prominence also has a great mystical quality from their Native American heritage and all of these factors come together in the small Southern town.

Filled with intrigue, mysticism, and spiritual phenomena, Magnolia In The Light reveals the depths that being interracial, wealthy and mystical in the South have affected the lives of all of them.  When information surfaces about the family’s past, the strange occurrences of past and present, and family skeletons come to the surface, the small town will be changed forever.  Each person in this large family has a secret, or spiritual gift that will manifest itself during visits to the homestead; and sometimes not always for the better.

The focal character “Raven” is second generation, unaware of what was really going on in the family, not that familiar with the family history (and often rebelled against the idea of having any mix blood), becomes astounded when she finds out about the true quaint little town her family was from.

Mistakenly, “Raven” thought she was traveling to a backward little town with nothing going on, only to find a host of Spirits, Witchcraft, Sex and Greed prevailing.  She is unaware that she even has a “gift” and often felt unfulfilled because of this; only to find out that there is a special “mission” in store for her.,

This book will capture your imagination, reveal spiritual activities on both the light and dark side, and satisfy even the most ardent mystery readers desire to solve this intriguing mystery.

About the Author

ShayLov (aka, Sharon Hatch) is a renowned Spiritual Reader.  She has amassed an international clientele that  are faithful and devoted to her loving insightful advise, counseling and readings.  Refusing to become public, she works with clients from referrals and since money is not her motivator, she doesn’t feel compelled to “read” everybody that request them.

She was born with a “veil”, a term used by Native Americans describing a thin membrane that covers the eyes at birth.  When the eyes open before the veil is removed, the person is then able to have contact with the other side.

ShayLov is received her PhD in Metaphysics and is sometimes referred to as a Metaphysician.  She uses her gift to advise and guide through a spiritual path, often receiving messages from the client from their relatives that have crossed over.

Although her primary education had been in law, she has set that aside in an effort to be of help to the many that need guidance.  She is generous with her kindness and has volunteered her services to several major Universities and reads and guides some of the students at no charge.

If you want to be an example, you should set an example; and her example of love, kindness, generosity and fairness is a lesson that we all can benefit from.  Unpretentious would best describe ShayLov and spiritual in all that she does would describe her action.
