About the Book

An army Special Forces soldier has to raise his daughter in the military environment of a NATO base in Germany, and later as an army recruiter in NYC. Here, Cynthia develops her talents in music and athletics. Summer camp life is a pleasant interlude for both daughter and father. College experiences are interrupted, and Cindy finds herself again in Germany, this time defending a US Army Missile Base as an MP. What could go so wrong that would land her in a prison back in the USA and, ultimately, across the country in California selling real estate? This is a story of pathos, adventure and ecstasy. Rodney participates in a hairy experience in Vietnam. Cynthia discovers that friendship and treachery can exist side by side in the army. Father and daughter both learn about romantic love and devotion.
