About the Book
An Ache for
Union is
about our longing for and oneness with Divine Love. The message of the book is optimistic, mystical, inclusive, and
inspirational. It presents a vision of
unity among spiritual traditions rarely offered by anyone in a particular faith
tradition–the author is a Protestant Christian. Not only will the poems inspire
you in many alluring words and images, you will find the extensive notes
informative. They offer quotations from
the last two millennia, thematic parallels among spiritual paths East and West,
and a glowing respect for all Creation as manifesting the Lover, Who is Love.
If you want a book that uplifts the spirit, affirming that being one in Love is
the innate privilege of us all, then, this one for you. An
Ache for Union will speak to persons who are followers of faith traditions
to those not so aligned but looking for a spiritual source that is inclusive,
affirming, and compassionate.
