About the Book

When we asked the author what are the benefits of your book over others? His reaction was, "I couldn’t tell you, strangely, I don’t like to read. However, I did notice that when I told a story it raised much attention and laughter from all who listened. The stories I told, would bring people to their knees." Before growing too old or seeing the family pass away, he decided it was time to tell his story. Even at the risk of displeasing some, he went to work on it. For each character he carefully states a bad and a good trait to counter balance each other. "It wasn’t hard to find either one," the author explained. You will find your emotions running up and down the "emotional spectrum" while reading this book, now that’s entertainment! These stories are mostly humorous, but there are some serious and saddening entries. This book will definitely identify with many people and families. "Reading the book is different from watching T.V. Instead of being shown what to imagine, you can imagine things in your own way and make the story more personal and meaningful." So climb into this book and grow up all over again!

About the Author

Dennis A. Brown was born to a large lower income white American family. Although witty and entertaining from the very start of his life, he was soon to learn of the ups and downs of being raised on a small farm in Frisco, Missouri. Dennis is always intent on telling the truth no matter how it might hurt him. Blaming his bad memory as his reasoning for always needing to tell the truth, Dennis claims he couldn’t keep up with his lies if he had to. After trying hard for many years to mimic or harness the "getting mad" emotion, Dennis finally gave it up and decided it wasn’t in him. However, you will notice in his writings that he is very well acquainted with all the other natural emotions of the human life.
