About the Book
I call my book Abundance of Treasure. It tells the story of a lovely young woman named Lily Harper who dreams of meeting her "Mr. Right" and when that does happen she finds herself caught up into a tailspin romance with so much excitement and change in such a short amount of time. Bill Bennett enters her life with a great deal of enthusiasm and concern making lily feel even more drawn to him than she had ever even imagined. The two fall in love at first sight and find themselves facing many new challenges and decisions. Family being first concern for both they now must do what is best to join their two families together as one. This causes some changes of heart for not only Lily but for her beloved mother Camille as well. Lily has lost her father quite suddenly to a heart attack and now feels the responsibility of caring for her mother who has since had health problems of her own. With the love and support that she receives from Bill, along with her "angel of mercy" elderly friend Anne, Lily receives the strength to start anew. A life she considers her abundance of treasure.
About the Author
Joyce is a mother of five and grandmother of seven. She has always wanted to write a book. Her children encouraged her to do so as they can recall the many stories she told them long ago at bedtime, having loved the "made-up ones" best. She lives at home in Fair Lawn, New Jersey with her husband john. Both are retired now and enjoy their life together, sharing the many memories their long marriage has given them.
