About the Book

Second Chances is the inspirational story of one young woman’s quest to fulfill her divine destiny and the family and friends who help her along the way.

Second Chances tells the story of Denise Michelle Howard as she journeys through pain and beyond, only to discover the healing power of God’s love once she totally surrenders her life and will to Him. Recently divorced from her husband of eleven years, Denise now finds herself alone, unemployed, with two children for whom she is now totally responsible. As she rediscovers her own strengths and abilities needed to survive these perilous times, her dreams of owning her own business are suddenly resurrected. With the help of Dee and Kim, her two life-long friends from way back in the day, along with the prayers of her parents, Denise is ultimately able to achieve her professional goals. Her spiritual growth is no less phenomenal. As Denise surrenders her life to God and seeks His ultimate will, she discovers His divine power to intervene in and transform not only her life but the lives of those closest to her.

Second Chances is a must read novel for anyone seeking to know God’s purpose for their lives. It will inspire and encourage the reader as the truth becomes evident:

"In Him also we have obtained an inheritance being predestined according to the purpose of Him who works all things according to the counsel of His will..."

Ephesians 1:11 (NKJV).
