About the Book

Every life is a gift from God, whether one acknowledges this fact or not. And everybody lives either according to God’s will or against it. The best way to love God and our neighbor is to live in harmony with God’s will. To clearly inspire the direction of human living, God’s Word for the 21st Century has been published.

This book is an inspirational reference designed to engender a greater interest in reading, studying, and understanding the Bible. With thirty-seven chapters that relate to the essential aspects of human life, the book offers topics in which most people have an interest and curiosity. Solutions and insights for these chapter titles are cited from Genesis through Revelation. Each chapter and page will help readers discover every essence of the Biblical message for human life today. The book will also serve as an excellent aid for outreach programs, Bible studies, and preparation of theological theses and sermons.

As extolled in the Introduction by Reverend Richard A. Wittig, each chapter offers the riches of the Bible in an accessible format that speaks to a specific human concern from forgiveness and hope to wealth and justice. It is in some ways a fully printed out concordance, so that references are immediately available, without having to search anywhere else. They are right at the fingertips. This book allows readers to easily find truth and meaning in Bible verses for theological and personal study and reference and would be ideal for all ministries to inspire people to read Scripture on a daily basis, fostering a greater interest in Bible reading worldwide.

As Reverend Wittig further reflects, the Bible is a gift of God to all the world's people. However, it is often a gift that many find very difficult to open. The arrangement of the Bible can be confusing. Information and ideas can be difficult to discover. It can seem like an impossible maze. Even for those who have received the gift of the Bible and learned how to navigate it, the Bible can still be difficult terrain in which to search for truth and meaning, especially in regard to specific questions or concerns. God's Word for the 21st Century is a wonderful help to enter the treasures of the Bible and thus more deeply into God's love and intention for us all.

About the Author

Grace Song, M.S., has worked as a pharmacist and high-school science teacher. Since her own high-school days from 1947 on, personal study of the Bible and expansive readings of theological, philosophical, and literary works, including those by Dante Alighieri, Emanuel Swedenborg, St. Augustine, St. Thomas Aquinas, St. Francis of Assisi, and many other saints, as well as their biographies, Socrates, Plato, Aristotle, Kant, Goethe, Tolstoy, Dostoevsky, and Dickens, among others, provided the basis for a profound understanding of the teachings of the Bible and how it so completely addresses and fulfills societal needs. In 1983, she and her husband Samuel Song established the publishing company International Life Message, Inc. In 1984, the company published The Bible Compiled for a Blessed Life, which has been distributed to a wide array of individuals and organizations as an evangelical tool. The book was later published with AuthorHouse as God’s Word for the 21st Century. Endorsements from various spiritual leaders, including the Stanford University chaplain, government officials, and other public figures, praise The Bible Compiled for a Blessed Life.
