About the Book

All Anne Davis wanted to do was graduate from Lake Winnemuc Technical College with her degree in Home Decorating and fade into obscurity. That’s before her manipulative mother, Cat, set her up to take the fall in a $300,000 lawsuit. Spurred by a prophetic dream, Anne flees her midwestern roots and heads to the western version of the Himalayas, Southern California.

There she takes a job at Mantra, a metaphysical bookstore. Falling under the wing of Moonbeam, a Wiccan high priestess and tarot reader, Anne is exposed to the world of the occult and paranormal. Hurt and angry over her mother’s betrayal, Anne burrows deep into new age counter culture, looking for answers.

To help her along her journey are her new landlord, Dr. Reubin Rabinowitz, an aging hippie with a love of drumming circles and pot; his voodoo practicing ex-wife, Olufemi; and the skateboarding surfer dude with a penchant for howling, Wolfe. When she finally meets the world famous channeler, Fran Baker, Anne believes the spirit realm will help her solve her earthly problems.

Unfortunately, Fran is all too human as Anne is forced to realize after being taken on a journey that involves lies, manipulation, alien possesion and an all-out babe brawl.

Dimensions shift, cultures clash and personalities collide in this fast-paced, fun-filled novel of adventure, romance and high meditation.
