About the Book

In the three screenplays of GIVING UP WAR, brave men and women are fighting to bring us peace.

--RUBY RED, a courageous Arizona ranch woman stands down the Soviet empire on her own turf...and wins.

--BROTHER COCA, a lay missionary in the Bolivian Andes risks his life to bring the truth about the failed Drug War to the American people.

--SAM AND LILA, a shaggy-haired cowboy and a blond temptress shatter the lie of Star Wars and the myth of the National Security State.

It couldn’t have happened here, we think, these wars that shouldn’t have been.

They did happen, though. We let them happen.

But now, God willing, we’re ending them, too.

In these gripping tales, the reader will re-live the tiny steps toward peace that a few people made, and rejoice at how far we’ve all come.
