About the Book

All Angie Benedetto ever wanted was to fly airplanes, travel to exotic places and maybe find a guy who didn't think that high-roll collars and a duck's ass hairstyle were the height of fashion. But she made a mistake along the way. Now Angie's being chased through a cannibal-infested swamp by Vatican mercenaries who want to kill her and the only guy who can help her out has been dead for half-a-dozen years.

The Missionary Position tells the story of a smart-mouthed, Italian girl from Brooklyn who threatens the Vatican's control of the world's largest gold mine. Angie defies her neighborhood's traditions to live out her dream of flying airplanes in an exotic country. But she never dreamt of meeting someone like Charles Aldridge.

Charles Abbott Aldridge, a rich WASP anthropologist studying cannibals, covertly works for his father to regain control of his gold mine in Irian Jaya. Luchino Cardinal Volente, the corrupt Vatican Secretary of State, also plans to control the mine, but the Cardinal's brother Anthony has a scheme of his own.
