About the Book

Abandoned on the Miami Shores Golf Course, Sandtrap, only three months old was fortunate to select her new loving family, who cared and provided for her. In return, when she was three years old, she opened up her heart and displayed her God-given talent She knew the numerical system, was able to comprehend their meaning, and was able to do addition, subtraction, multiplication and division, without being taught. She just did it. Without hesitation she always gave the correct answers, by hitting my hand with her paw.

She didn't do it for treats. She did it as a challenge.

Sandtrap performed for school children, college professors, golfers, animal lovers, believers, unbelievers etc., etc.

Since I was unable to get her on television, nor in the newspapers I felt an obligation to write this book for the interested to enjoy and to think about it.

In 1980,Sandtrap's numerical genius was placed in the Guinness subject files to refer to for comparative purposes in the future.
