Instead of contributing more to the chaos and destruction in the world and being another sad statistic, a common sheep among a herd, I choose to be a notable distinction by clearly knowing and understanding the true definition of the “Love Thyself” terminology. By courageously committing myself, and I sincerely hope others will to, to producing the substance behind the words. It is the author’s expectation, that, the same love brims over from his life into the community effecting positive change.
Since man is internally endowed with all the necessary attributes to know the answers to the basic questions of life, as he considers this material derived from self-analysis, he will definitely reach the same basic conclusion regarding the true definition of what it means to “Love Thyself.” The reason I am sure that the same basic conclusion will be reached, is, it is important man knows the truth about himself and his internal worth that he may adequately align himself up with nature and the higher order of the universe which is “God.” Once he does this then and only then can one proceed to rightfully Love Thyself and make the maximum capitalization from his life.

The thing that makes this book very uncommon and even controversial is, the author claims there is only one absolute definition for what it truly means to Love Thyself. So many people have so many different definitions for the phase. Therefore, it challenges the reader to really think through their definition of the Love Thyself phrase, and also challenges the reader to establish a means of sound critical thinking skills for life.
The books wording makes it easy and clear reading to find out if you actually love yourself in the proper sense, Because either you do or you don’t. And the book’s aim is to play the role as a gauge for that purpose. If people choose to love themselves correctly, and those people are currently failing to do so, this book affords them a clear well-thought-out basis for doing so. And if people are already loving themselves, it enhances their ability to do so, by giving the new aspects of understanding the Love Thyself idea.
This book was written based on the strong belief that the contents which made it possible were unavoidably the results of prayer, providence, and the power of both intellect and conscience. It was written to appeal to a wide audience, age 16 and up. The book was written for lay person as well as for the scholar. The vocabulary was carefully selected for that purpose.
Additionally, it must be stated this book’s contents was never intended to solely encourage the practical side of loving oneself, its main reason for being written is to inspire correct thought on the Love Thyself subject. This book just lays the proper foundation in the form and fashion of words and thoughts in which the idea of Love Thyself can eventually be practice.
About the Author
Robert LeVan Reese is a first time author. And he aspires to write many more books. The next book he intends to write will be the sequel to this one: “How to Practice Loving Yourself.” What inspired him to write this book (Love thyself) was his lack of comprehensive understanding of the concept, “Love thyself,” and the lack of understanding he believes is a condition of many people the world-over. He believes this book will enlighten the reader to the concept’s true meaning or get them to really think about its true meaning. His whole aim for this book is to get the reader to think.
