Anna sits in her music class with a big smile on her face because today, she is going to learn how to play the violin. Anna has always enjoyed listening to the violin because her big sister, Amy, plays the violin. Anna’s teacher, Mrs. Walker, asked the class to raise their hand if they know how to play an instrument. One boy said, “I play the drums.” Another boy said, “I can play the guitar.” Anna could not raise her hand because she did not know how to play any instruments.

Cathy Finch White was born and raised in Panama City, Florida. She attended Gulf Coast College, later relocated to Tampa Florida where she continued her education at Tampa College, She also lives in Tampa Fl. Cathy has 3 children, whom are all college graduates and one grandson who is the inspiration behind all of her books.
