He stood transfixed as she kissed him. When she pulled back she had hoped to teach him a lesson, but in reality had been totally swept off her feet.
Ian allowed her to back away slowly but he grabbed her hands in his larger ones. "You're a delightful minx, Samantha Everwood. And I like the way you thought to put me in my place. But it backfired so nicely, in my favor. Thank you for that!"
Once again Sam didn't know what to say to this tall stranger. Well, she supposed, he wasn't a stranger anymore. Not after buying her tea and kissing her silly.

While on vacation in Scotland, Samantha met the last Earl of McKellan by stepping on his foot, as she moved back from the sudden appearance of the ghost of McKellan Castle, directly in front of her. The apparition appeared to be looking directly at her. The occassional visit of the current owner of the castle was to again listen to the many stories that were being told during the guided tour. As Sam tromped on his toes he was forced to meet the lovely American woman that had been standing in front of him as the tour guide spoke of the yet to be discovered treasure hidden in this very bedroom by the previous Earl.

Writing has always been something I wanted to do. In my school years I wrote romance for my girlfriends. They encouraged me to write more, but there wasn't enough time. During college I attended a Police Report Writing Class learning a lot. My profession required investigations on many subjects including those on vehicle accidents. As I decided to take an early retirement I began writing in earnest. With a dozen romances on the shelf and several children's stories as well, I continue to write to share the joy of finding that perfect other half for many women's dreams.
