About the Book

Jason Hughes was a young man possessed with an unquenchable desire to see what was beyond that next rise. His father Marshal Clay Hughes had told him about his friendship with a chief of the Lakota Sioux tribe of Indians by the name of Gray Wolf. He had also spoken of a notorious mountain man whose name was Wildcat. Jason‘s quest was to meet those men and spend time with them. He wanted to experience the life of an Indian and the life of the mountain man. He wanted to learn their ways and actually live the life that they lived. He also wanted to experience the wonders of the untamed West and see the things that his father spoke about. He loved his family, his life on the ranch at Yellowstone, yet he could not resist the urge to experience his quest. This book shares his experiences along the way.
