About the Book
What would you do if you saw someone being bullied? Bullying can happen anywhere—in school, online, on sports teams, or in everyday life. It can leave children feeling frightened, isolated, powerless, and unsure where to turn. Bridget Steele, an experienced educator, author, and advocate for children, believes understanding bullying is the first step toward preventing it, so we can build a kinder world for everyone. She focuses on: • recognizing physical, verbal, social, and cyberbullying; • seeking help in a safe and effective manner; • providing help as a bystander or trusted adult; • creating positive change with empathy, respect, resilience, and inclusion. This book goes beyond bullying: It reveals how building confidence, developing character, and helping children understand their value can keep bullying at bay. Help youngsters find their voice, learn how to support others, make positive choices, and discover that kindness is one of the greatest strengths they possess with the reflective questions, practical strategies, and memorable lessons in this book.
