About the Author
Annette Hobart is a Metis women, deeply grounded in her culture, traditions, and care for the land and its animals. As a former recipient of the “King Charles III Coronation Medal” for her work in Truth and Reconciliation, she continues to foster understanding. Annette has shared insights on Metis women’s connection to the land with the United Nations, and her storytelling reflects that love. Even as she grows older, she embraces imagination, writing for children and adults alike. Annette’s love for her children and granddaughter, Poppy has inspired this book. Annette has also authored “ Nordegg: The Quest to Find Sasquatch.” bringing adventure to the adult readers as well.
