About the Book
Peter Kempinsky (if that’s his real name) is a highly skilled Russian assassin who is in England to try to assassinate the new American President who is here on her first official tour abroad. Jack Sanderson, Head of Operations for MI5, is assigned to stop him. But this is easier said than done. After two weeks of intensive searching, he is tracked down to Windsor where his plot is finally exposed, aided by a brilliant young hacker on his team. But he still manages to escape back to London where he causes more mayhem until he is caught by Jack. But this is still not the end of the saga! This is the 8th title in the author’s Jack Sanderson series.
About the Author
After graduating from university with a degree in Classics, Richard Sloane roamed the world as a peripatetic English teacher, teaching all levels from Secondary school to university including some teaching of Literature to native English speakers in America, which he really enjoyed. During this time, he honed his skills as a teacher, partly by returning to England for a couple of years to do more studying in his field of Applied Linguistics. He learned much about the world at this time and it was also when he developed an interest in teacher training. After that, he returned to England to teach again for the next twenty odd years and write books for students and teachers. However, sadly, he was then forced to retire due to medical reasons and since that time he has been writing fiction, something he has enjoyed doing all his life. He has written for all different age groups and this is his 23rd published work.
