About the Book

He was a criminal. A murderer. A drug dealer. A man raised to do violence.
From an early age, Ray Salah was taught that the world despised him—and in turn, he despised the world. His life spiraled through crime, addiction, and the streets, where hate was survival and mercy was weakness. But even in the darkest corners, God’s light can break through.
Everything changed when Ray encountered the truth of Jesus Christ.
In this raw and powerful testimony, Redeemed by the Blood: From Gang Member to Grace Messenger reveals how one man walked away from a life of sin, shedding not only his past as a murderer and addict but even the identity that chained him to shame and bitterness. Through persecution, loss, and the struggle to forgive himself, Ray discovered that no one—not even the most broken—stands beyond the reach of divine redemption.
A story of transformation, courage, and faith; this book reminds us that grace is not earned—it’s given. And when one man chooses light over darkness, his story becomes a beacon of hope for all.

About the Author

Ray Salah is a father, husband, and devoted servant of the Lord. Born in the Palestinian West Bank to an Arabic family, he witnessed firsthand the deeply divisive effects of war. After immigrating to the United States, he grew up with the belief that the world hated him, and he would never be good enough. That all changed when he accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. Prior to accepting the gift of salvation, Ray was a criminal who participated in gang violence—including murder—and a drug addict. Since becoming a servant of the Lord, he has devoted his life to serving his church, community, and family. Alongside his wife, Kathrine, he traveled across Texas in a motorcycle ministry called Redeemed Riders, which sought to bring bikers to Jesus Christ while also feeding and clothing the homeless population in the state. In recent years, he participated in a local prison ministry to spread the Good News and inform prisoners how no one is past the point of redemption.
