About the Author

Indiana author Scott Baker Sweeney started writing and creating stories very early in life. Most ofhis work was carefully cataloged away in scrapbooks & shoe boxes, then stored in his mother's closet. In 2007 Scott'sfirst novel, 'The Tears ofMary' was published, followed by hisfirst children's book, 'Beyond the Reef. Then in 2012 came his second novel, 'Cheat River Three', which has been lauded by critics & reviewers. He attributes his creative imagination to being raised in the country, enjoying long days playing in cornfields & wooded ravines. He credits his mother & grandfather, both scribes ofpoetry & short stories, for passing on those special 'tale telling' genes. He is married & hasfour children & two grand children. He's passionate about sailing & lives in the suburbs ofIndianapolis.
