About the Book

When Lisa learned that her unborn grandbaby was being placed for adoption, her world turned upside down. The news brought a wave of confusion, grief, and questions she could not answer. Though she already loved her grandchild deeply, she was forced to face a reality she never imagined—a grandbaby she might never hold or know.

With her Bible open and her heart breaking, Lisa poured out her grief before God. Like Hannah in Scripture, she discovered that the same God who receives our tears can transform them into something beautiful. As she began praying not only for herself but for her grandchild and the adoptive parents, God shifted her focus from loss to intercession. Through Scripture, prayer, and time, Lisa’s journey moved from anguish to acceptance—and finally, to awe. What began as heartbreak became a testimony of God’s faithfulness. He opened unexpected doors, turning pain into purpose and grief into joy.

Exceedingly Abundantly More is the true story of how one grandmother found peace in the middle of an unthinkable situation, how God redeemed what felt broken beyond repair, and how His grace proved to be exceedingly, abundantly more than she could ask or imagine.

About the Author

Lisa is retired who, along with her husband of 40 years, raised two sons, is self-employed, serves in her church and loves doting on her four grandchildren…who are the light of her life. She loves God first, then her husband, her sons & daughter-in-law (love), her precious grandchildren, her extended family and her dear friends. This is her first book she felt deeply encouraged by God to write.
