About the Book
In a world of free-will and humanity, there are bound to be clashes from the start. Mix in love, jealousy, a few power-hungry souls and fallen angels, and you have the same epic themes as that of Gilgamesh, Beowulf, and The Lord of the Rings. This is a modern day Paradise Lost, as well as a readable Ancient Sumerian text. If you love epics across time and space, you will love this series.
About the Author
Michelle Barone hails from Rochester, NY where she is a high school English and special education teacher. She is an author specializing in epic and historical fiction. Her debut novels, a series entitled The Beginning, takes you back to the beginning of time and wanders down the path of humanity. From Adam and Eve to the Ancient Sumerians and beyond, her work is well researched and has nuances of human complexity so deep that you may find yourself in several characters. She enjoys reading and teaching Ancient Literature, and finds that those individuals are really no different than modern mortals. She is also very interested in her Viking heritage and is currently researching several interesting characters, their life events, and their genealogies for another book. When these characters pull on her shirt tails, she imagines outside the farthest border, and lets them tell their tales. Sometimes good guys can be bad, and bad guys have reasons. She received her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from Roberts Wesleyan University. When she is not writing, researching, or teaching, she enjoys spending time with her family, baking, hiking, and gardening.
