About the Book

The story of Three Dog Bowls takes the reader through more than 45 years of one woman’s life on a farm with fifteen dogs (and still counting!). From real life to the imagined thought process of each dog, Three Dog Bowls leads us into adventure, trials and tribulations, learning experiences, joy and sorrow. From raising a puppy to adopting a shelter dog, from learning what to expect to handling the unexpected, the three dog bowls symbolize love, compassion and spirit.

About the Author

Lisabeth Armstrong, writer, painter and photographer grew up in Indianapolis, Indiana. A graduate of Earlham College, she studied art, photography and ornithology. Lisabeth moved to Westfield, Indiana in 1980 where she lives on their farm with her husband, son, three dogs, two horses, and a cat.
