Sixteen-year-old Kristi is attending the final classes in the city of Doctavia before she is expected to declare her faith and be accepted into the Community of Faith. Although she wants to follow her parents’ guidance, she feels the answers to most of her introspective questions about religion have been unsatisfactory so far. Even worse, she believes someone is watching her at school, and it is not friendly. When she wakes up in the middle of the night and sees an evil spirit standing in the corner of her room, she suddenly realizes it is controlling her body. Overwhelmed with fear, she finally regains her power back, deciding she never wants to be controlled again. But what she does not know is that her decision has played right into the hands of the evil spirit. As it manipulates her until she is possessed, she becomes trapped in a dark corner of her being while it unfurls its malicious plan. After someone prays for Kristi, she decides to ask God for help. Now a warrior, God is teaching her to fight and she will not relent. In this LitRPG novel, a young woman who becomes possessed by an evil spirit must snatch her one chance at freedom if she ever wants to find peace again.

About the Author

Lizelle Swart is following God’s calling to share her story with the world. Her writing is inspired by her personal experiences of being possessed, freed, and led by the spirit of God. Swart has been a newborn Christian for thirty-six years. Freedom is the first book in an intended series.
