About the Book

First Light is the first book of a series of First Light Books. First Light tells the story of a young preacher and his family searching for God’s will. Unknown to them however, in their search to fulfill God’s will, is an evil presence all around them in the town of Whisper Springs. However, an angelic host is also sent to help them. All around them a spiritual battle is taking place that everyone is unaware of, but it’s just as real as the life they are living. As pastor Raines unknowingly comes back to his roots, a large-scale spiritual war begins to take shape in the little town of Whisper Springs. The Lord has a mighty plan for this preacher’s family at First Light Baptist Church. As the time for the Big Vote draws near, will preacher Raines become the pastor of First Light, or will the forces of darkness be able to stop it? As more angels and demons descend upon Whisper Springs, the town is becoming a hotspot of activity, and a huge battle over First Light and the Raines family seems imminent.

About the Author

Pastor Brian J. Warren was born in 1977 and raised in the Piedmont area of N.C. Pastor Brian was saved at the age of ten reading a Chick Publications comic book and called to preach at the age of twenty-five. He acquired his bachelor’s in theology at Calvary Baptist Bible College and Seminary graduating with honors in 2010. He is married to his beautiful wife Amy, and they have been married for twenty-six years. They have two children together Brice and Brianna. In the fall of 2010, he and his family moved to Virginia where he pastored Cornerstone Baptist church in Tyro for five years. Pastor Brian became the pastor of Gospel Light Baptist Church in Evington Virginia in April of 2016 where he still serves as pastor. His hobbies include writing poetry, and sermon outlines, preaching, fishing, hiking, camping, and many other outdoor activities.
