After Wally got to be a great big whale, he was swimming around in the Mediterranean Sea where he was born. He was getting hungry, and he thought, “I’d like to have something different for lunch today. I think I’ll look around and see ir I can find something that I haven’t had before.” Wally saw something that looked different all right!. He was sure he hadn’t seen anything like that before.” He thought, “Well, you don’t know if you like something until you try it, so here goes!” Whales don’t chew their food. They just swallow it whole. So with a BIG GULP down went his lunch! As soon as he swallowed it he knew he had made a mistake. His lunch was a man, and he wouldn’t be still. He kept flopping around and talking. Finally, Wally had enough! “Hey, in there. You’re going to have to be still. You’re making me sick.!

“Hear It From the Animals” is a book written about animals in the Bible who are doing the talking. In the story, “The Smart Pigs” Mama Pig was concerned about what he was going to eat. She said, “You’re going to go and get something to eat, aren’t you? You must be really hungry.” “I amc” he gasped. “I;m about to starve to death. I was thinking, if you don’t mind, I might just eat with all of you.” In the story, “Sheila Gets Lost” Sheila started to cry. She realized she was lost, and she probably would die before anyone found her. She could see that it was getting dark, and who would find her after dark? The shepherd had always warned her not to be out after dark because the wolves would be out. “Oh, no,” she thought, “here I am out here all by myself and it’s getting dark. No one will find me except the wolves.” She started to cry even louder - but no one could hear her.
