About the Book

This book is semi-autobiographical fiction inspired by true events in 2024. It is a story of a trip around the world on a cruise ship and the unexpected, harrowing, and heroic events during the journey of a lifetime.

About the Author

Sylvia Robbins aspired to go on a world cruise since she was twenty-four. Her goal was to experience different cultures of the world and see wildlife in their natural habitat. Never did she think she would write a novel. She was compelled to write this story and had no say in the matter; she felt that the book had to be written! In planning her retirement, Sylvia never predicted she would call herself a poker player or an author! The only certainty is uncertainty.
