Have mercy, thought Yusef as he realized just where exactly he was, and who was in front of him. He was so unclean, and so dirty, Yusef was certain that God would vanish him and with a snap of a finger, Yusef would cease to exist. However, as powerful and as frightening as God was, he was also a God of kindness and love.
An angel came over, and gave Yusef a band to put around his wrist. This band purified and took away Yusef’s sins. Yusef felt more calm, but still unshakably scared. He looked up, and saw the white light beating down on him. God spoke, and when he did, his voice boomed and echoed.
“My son…do you know where you are?”
Yusef shook his head, and he could feel God smiling.
“Right now, we are in a sanctuary where you are safe…for now. Trust in me my child, no harm will befall upon you. I have bigger and greater plans for you, my son. I have a life filled with purpose. You will not die here today. You will prevail, and you will succeed.
“Do you honestly think that ‘The President’ and the Leviathan would prevail over me? Do you honestly think that I would let my followers be killed by such a brash beast, and not do anything about it. I am offended that you would think so!”
Yusef shook his head in absolute fear.
“NO. It’s nothing like that. It’s not like that at all!”
“THEN WHAT IS IT?!”
The whole place shook. Yusef cried in fear. Even though he was cleansed, he was still afraid. God, in less than a flash, would be able to end Yusef as if he were a speck of dust. No, something even smaller than that. Yusef cowered and put his hands up in defense, but God didn't strike him down.
“My son. Don't be so afraid. I came here to tell you that I am proud of you. I see that you are trying, and I see that your heart weeps for those that are weak and suffering. Blessed are those that mourn, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. I can see that you think that there is no way that a beast and a monster like the Leviathan could ever be defeated. Then if you think that, then truly I say…you do not know me. I am the Lord of Lords. My time will last forever. This is all part of my plan. I will not let this deter me from my end goal of being with those whom I love.
“The son of the morning has no power over me. Do not worry, nor should you have any fear. If you think he would harm you, then you are so mistaken. I would not let him touch a hair on your head. The hairs that I know like the back of my hand, for I made them in my image. My son, I love you more than you could ever imagine. Yet…I don’t think you truly understand me. Yet…that 's ok. You never will, for at the end of the day, you are just a sinner. A poor, poor sinner. Yet, still someone that I love, and my heart calls out and cries for you. Come, and draw closer to me. I wish to be with you. Now, until the end of the age!
“So I say to my son, I am granting you the power. A fraction of the sheer colossal power that you cannot comprehend. I am granting you this power to expel the beast. You will not kill him, for I am the Kings of Kings, and vengeance will be mine and nobody else's! Expel him to the minds of the wicked, and to the minds of those who have rejected my salvation, for they shall join him in the burning for eternity! They shall suffer forever and ever as they hear me laugh and rejoice at the victory that shall inevitably be mine! Since the day Adam and Eve have eaten the fruit, and since the day I have dragged that accursed viper through the streets, victory has been mine. Victory has always been mine, and I am ensuring yours!
“Now, go forth with all that I have given you. I trust you not to abuse your powers. Beware if you do. Know that I am a God that is loving, but a fearful God as well. Fear me, and you shall have an abundant life! Fear me…FEAR ME! So now, go forth and expel that wicked beast into the minds of men who cannot accept salvation. Expel that beast, just I have expelled the serpent when he was in the garden.
“I love you my son. If you need anything, merely just ask. I will surely be with you, now until the end of the age. So go forth with dedication. Go forth with purity in heart! Go forth into battle, for victory is yours, just like it is for me. GO FORTH MY SON! I LOVE YOU! GO! GO FORTH!”
Yusef closed his eyes, and soon awakened back on the island. He felt a massive surge in power, and he felt his soul was different. He felt like everything was different. He was holding a sword. A double edged sword. He was wearing massive white robes, and he felt a massive surge of energy. Yusef has all his limbs back, and his other eye. He smiled as he felt so confident, and so powerful. He wished he felt this way forever and ever! He looked at the Leviathan…and the Leviathan shivered where it stood. The beast roared and tried to attack Yusef.
