About the Author

Arrivederci Sicily is Michael Palmer’s fourth book of short stories. For 47 years, Michael was a finance professor at the University of Colorado in Boulder. During that time his only writing and publications consisted of his academic research. After retiring from his home campus in 2013, Michael continued to teach as a visiting professor in Japan and Italy. His assignments in those two countries provided many of the ideas which appear in his books, but especially in his fourth book, Arrivederci Sicily.
