About the Author

Alina Miller has been a family nurse practitioner since 2013. Alina’s main areas of interest are interventional pain management and integrative medicine. Alina completed her undergraduate degree in chemistry and physics from Babes-Bolyai in Cluj-Napoca, Romania. She later earned her master’s degree in nursing at The University of Phoenix. She is certified by The American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and has additional certification in clinical homeopathy.

Furthering her education, Alina completed her fellowship at The Andrew Weil Center for Integrative Education at The University of Arizona School of Medicine. She is also an active member of The Southern Arizona Advanced Practice Nurse - Nurse Practitioner Society. She has extensive post-fellowship training in medical acupuncture.

While working on her education and raising a family, she looked back into ancient healing practices searching for answers.
