Early in the morning, the sun shines through the small hole next to Bushy’s bed, it is his window. But it was not the sun. It woke Bushy. There was a strange hammering, sound, bing, bing bing, Ratatat Tat. Bushy got up and he shook his big bushy tail. He folded his blanket and put it at the end of his bed. Then he put on his shirt, and he headed down the ladder headfirst. Squirrels go down headfirst, that’s the way squirrels go down. “ mama, I heard a strange noise!”
