What is Rex Hiding? Is a predictable book that takes children on a guessing adventure to see what item Rex is hiding next! These items feature shapes, colors, patterns, sequences and repetitive phrases that keep children engaged, excited, and able to be an active participant in the reading experience. Particularly, the shapes and colors within the book help reinforce early learning fundamental concepts. The events in the story can be used for further sequencing activities, asking and answering “wh” questions, and story re-tell, emphasizing auditory skills and development.

About the Author

My sister and I wrote this book together. We both work with children and have a love for all children's books. I am a Speech Language Pathologist and my sister, Dana is a Special Education Teacher. We have always loved reading to our children and when Rex became TikTok famous, we just knew we had to write about all his adventures.
