About the Book

The Adventures of Doodle and Poodle is a fun story about a cat and dog who go on adventures with their human family. In this book, Doodle and Poodle take a trip to the circus where they have the opportunity to describe things using lots of expanded vocabulary. The focus is on the use of synonyms which help children grow their vocabulary and learn different ways to express ideas, thoughts, and feelings.

About the Author

I am a speech-language pathologist working in public education. I am also a wife and mother to two wonderful kids. It can be difficult at times for parents to know what skills their children should be mastering. Using synonyms, words that have the same or similar meanings, with our little ones is a fun and easy way to help expand their vocabulary. I would encourage you to take the vocabulary used in this book and help your child apply it to appropriate situations in their own life. Just remember to have fun!
