I felt lonely and empty, like no matter how much I filled myself with whatever I could grab and pull into me, there was a hole at the bottom of the cup, and it just kept pouring out. All I ever thought about at that time was music. But so many people had the same dream as me, so where did I fit? I was trying to find what makes you..you. When my parents would tell their friends about their children, I was always the one they held until last, "Oh Cash, he hasn't really picked out what he wants to do yet." Except I always have known who and what I've wanted to be, since I was ten. I guess I missed that concept of "you can be whoever you want to be, but if you choose something that is a little too dreamy, then you gotta grow up and pick some easier job like the ones where you sit in cubicles and where you watch your life tick-away like a time bomb."

He not only writes but also paints and plays guitar. At this time, R. L. Nunes is an aspiring singer and songwriter, who someday hopes to record his music and have it covered by other artists. He wrote this book while still a teenager. This is the first book in a series, which he hopes to write about Cash (aka Kid) and have published.
