Randy looked out from the band ensemble stage, deep into the audience. The audience waited patiently for the wind ensemble concert to begin. Right before the lights dimmed, he caught a smile from a long haired blonde, Ivanka. The college semester was ending, and Randy was happy to play the final sheets of music ! He placed his alto saxophone into it’s carrying case. Ivanka met him backstage for a smooch. She was ready to travel to the Adirondack mountains, together with her lover. What they would find in the pretty mountain landscape would change their lives forever...

About the Author

Richard Alexander Boehler, Jr. (nick name: “Richie”) studied science, sociology and music at Stony Brook University, Long Island New York. He enjoys the simple things in life: a camping trip to the Adirondack Mountains (God’s Country), time with his family, a good book, good music and “fitness training”. Richie served 15 faithful and honorable years in the United States Military (USNR). His influences that he admires are Stephen King, Stephenie Meyer, and Michael Crichton literature. Richie is a loving dad to two great kids (Madison and Dylan) and a “hopeless romantic”. He is thankful to all the love he has experienced in his life. And to the eternal military warriors/friends/brothers and sisters - thank you for your strength, goodness and protection.
