A Girl from Vienna

About the Book

A young girl named Ruthie, learns about life and love as she faces many challenges and joys living in Europe during the 1930's. She shares her story with young readers to appreciate the challenges that we must eventually face to find hope and dreams in our lives. It is with a sense of purpose we become who we are.

About the Author

Leslie Krutan was born Leslie Meryl Krutan, in New York City. She spent most of her childhood living in New York City, enjoying the sites, of University Avenue, enjoy square pizzas, making snow angels and listening to stories about Vienna from her mom, grandmother and aunt. She has been an educator for over 25 years instilling the dreams of young people to be their authentic self. She has published many articles, wrote curriculum and has taught in the Public School System. She has her Masters in Curriculum and Instruction at Grand Canyon University and presently works as an Adjunct at Rider University and Princeton Public Schools. She resides in the country with her family and close friends.
