About the Book

Mlynue Alfred Reeves dreams that one day he would be a basketball player. Using the life skills of competition, cooperation, tenacity and resiliency has allowed him to navigate to be the young man he is today.

About the Author

About the Author: My name is Myra Sampson Reeves. I am the mother of three sons, Zuogwi Earl Reeves, Mlynue Alfred Reeves, and Yuejay Thomas Reeves. I am a native of Philadelphia, Pa. I am a counselor, teacher, author and entrapper/missionary. In my spare time I enjoy writing, sailing, horseback riding and tennis. I was inspired to share my personal story of my son, Mlynue Alfred Reeves’ basketball career to inspire and motivate young boys and girls to pursue this sport. It is a sport that teaches discipline, persistence, and tenacity. I am also the author of: “Down on the Boardwalk,” illustrator: Emily Thomson. November 2020.
